Rich Stearns

Rich Stearns, former President of Parker Brothers Games and Lenox, Inc., accepted the Presidency of World Vision in 1998 in a dramatic career change. With nearly a quarter-century of corporate experience, he became the first World Vision President from the business world. Under his direction, World Vision has experienced unprecedented growth. Thanks in part to his application of corporate best practices and fostering of a strong leadership team, Christianity Today calls World Vision “an increasingly important player in world humanitarian aid.” Mr. Stearns holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and honorary doctorates from Eastern University and Azusa Pacific University.
