Who is My Neighbor?

Resources QuoteHow can your Church… your small group… you… gain the knowledge, the skill and the passion needed to become the Good Samaritan God has called you to be?

start> Becoming A Good Samaritan is a six-session curriculum that will help you, your Church or small group learn who your neighbors are, what their pressing needs are and how to put your faith into action.

To help serve the different learning needs of individuals or small groups and Churches we've customized the training tools to fit your unique situation.

The Church Experience

Imagine the everlasting impact on your Church as you wrestle for six weeks with the biggest issues the world faces today and learn as a congregation how you can be a light unto the world as ministers of mercy and compassion.

Here are some of the tools the start> Becoming A Good Samaritan curriculum will offer to Churches-

Church Campaign Tools

The start> Becoming a Good Samaritan curriculum contains the following Worship and Preaching Resources:

  • Sermon outlines and resources from the actual teachers on the curriculum
  • Worship bulletin inserts for note-taking during the messages
  • Power Point templates
  • Promotional and teaching videos

As part of our commitment to make it easy for your church or small group to start>, we will offer multiple options for implementing this program at your Church.

  • As a traditional six-week Church-wide Campaign
  • As a single Sunday Service kick-off with a six-week movement campaign targeted to your Sunday school and small group community
  • As a weekend retreat/conference with customized breakout workshops and activities

The Small Group/Individual Experience

For the individual or small group we've crafted an experience that is more personal and interactive with features such as video teaching and a  Participant's Guide.  The Group/Individual curriculum offers:

  • A Participant's Guide, serving as a companion to the DVD curriculum and offers tips and tools to putting the lessons into action, as well as additional stories and testimonials that will inspire you to put your faith into action.
  • This web site, startproject.org, offering you the opportunity to share your experience with others, listen to interviews and testimonies of Good Samaritans from around the world, and suggests real world opportunities to flex the new Good Samaritan muscles you've recently acquired.
